Casting, as a product often used in our daily life, is mainly affected by the following four factors:
1、 Cast iron design process. When designing, not only the geometry and size of the casting are determined according to the working conditions and the metal properties, but also the design rationality is considered according to the casting process characteristic angle and the casting alloy, so as to avoid the casting defects such as deformation, cracking and composition segregation.
2、 The reasonable casting process is to select the appropriate molding and core making method according to the structure, size and weight of the iron castings. In order to ensure the quality of iron castings, it is necessary to set the cold iron, riser and pouring system reasonably.
3、 Whether the quality of raw materials for casting is excellent or not. If the quality of materials such as metal furnace burden, solvent, modifier or coating fails to meet the standard, defects such as porosity, slag inclusion and sand sticking will occur in the iron castings, which will affect the internal and external quality of the iron castings.
4、 Process operation procedures shall be reasonable. In the production of castings, we should constantly improve the technical level of workers, at the same time, formulate reasonable process operation procedures, so that the production process is correct and reasonable.
